YTN Middle School Elite Training Program 2026
A championship debate system built to win. Backed by two straight YTN Elementary titles, we're bringing the same proven approach to middle school.
Our Goal: Success at YTN Middle School
This Is Not a Casual Debate Class
This is a high-performance training program built to prepare students to compete at the highest level of the YTN Middle School English Debate Tournament.
After winning the YTN Elementary division two years in a row, we are bringing that proven championship system to middle school. The methods work. We are excited to apply those lessons into Middle School Training.
This program is the main focus of our academy this summer. Almost 60% to 70% of the focus of our academy will be spent on improving the teams that will compete in YTN as New Era Academy debaters.
This program is a real commitment as it follow a team training program. Therefore students who join this program are expected to commit to training for the responsiblity to their team and to themselves
What Sets This Program Apart

Coach feedback on strengths and growth areas
Why This Matters
Clear reporting keeps students, coaches, and parents aligned. We give the honest evaluation of the student and how they changed throughout the program.
  • Identify improvement areas quickly
  • Set measurable weekly goals
  • Keep parents informed
  • Adjust training to individual needs
  • Build student self-awareness
The information we gather throughout the course is all condensed into one feedback report which tracks student performance and gives deep analysis on how the student improved over time.
The Competitive Environment
This year, we’re scaling to 8–10 teams training together — our largest, most competitive internal field yet. The environment is demanding by design, because that’s how champions are made.
Stronger Internal Competition
More teams mean more pressure, tougher opponents, and sharper skills every session.
More Practice Opportunities
A bigger field means more rounds, more perspectives, and more reps — the fuel of growth.
Higher Performance Standards
When everyone competes hard, your ceiling rises. This environment demands excellence.
External Sparring Partners
Students also face outside teams, preparing for the unpredictability of real tournaments.
Meet Your Instructors
This program is led by experienced debate coaches with competitive expertise, strong teaching skills, and a deep commitment to developing winning debaters.
